Agnes Velma Pfannenstiel's Obituary
Agnes Velma Pfannenstiel, age 86, passed away at Ness County Hospital, Ness City, Kansas, on March 21, 2013.
She was born on May 8, 1926, in Ness City, Kansas, the daughter of Alex and Agatha Stoecklein Pfannenstiel.
She was an Adorers of the Blood of Christ Nun and an elementary school teacher. After receiving her release from vows as a nun in 1969, she moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where she taught in the North Kansas City School District as a substitute teacher until retiring in 2000.
She is survived by her brother, Marvin and his wife Ardis Pfannenstiel.
She was preceded in death by brothers: Richard, Alvin and Hubert Pfannenstiel; and sisters: Irene Banks and Frieda Pfannenstiel.
Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Ness City. Inurnment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Sacred Heart Church.
