Alana Rae Rogers, age 71, passed away at Cedar Village Long Term Care, Ness City, Kansas, on June 29, 2014.
She was born on January 9, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Paul and Mamie Vernique Crawshaw.
She was a farmer's wife and a certified nurses aide. She was a member of the Bookaholic's Society.
She married Orval Silvester Rogers on February 9, 1965 at Nowata, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1989.
She is survived by son, Ben (Janette) Rogers, Liebenthal, KS; daughters, Donna (Lee) Hansen, Hays, KS, Malena Rogers, Wichita, KS, Mamie Rogers, Ness City, KS; brother, Ronald Paul (Ruthanne) Crawshaw, McCracken, KS; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, parents, infant son, Alan Orval Rogers; and son, James Edward Rogers.
Viewing will be Wednesday, July 2, 9:00 A.M.- 9:00 P.M., with family present Wednesday 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be Thursday, July 3, 2014, 10:00 A.M. at Mount Allen Cemetery, Hays, KS.
Memorial contributions may be given to McCracken Library.
