Obituary

Albert L. Sculley, age 75, ofOsceola,Nebraska, passed away February 6, 2014, at the Osceola Good Samaritan Society.

Al was born October 12, 1938 to George Albert and Laura Irene (Mangas) Sculley in Beeler, Kansas.   He attended school in Dighton, Kansas and graduated from Dighton High School in 1956.

He served in the United States Navy from April 10, 1958 until April 15, 1959.

On March 2, 1963 he was united in marriage to Janis L. Cranston of Ness City, in Salina, Kansas.   To this union two children were born.

Al worked in construction in various locations in Nebraska and Kansas.   In 1065 he went to Clarksville, Tennessee where he worked for several years. He served as a construction superintendent with Busboom and Rauh for 45 years and retired in 2004.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and socializing with friends uptown

Survivors include his wife Janis of Osceola; daughter Teri Sculley of Lincoln; son Allen Sculley of Kearney; grandson Sagan (Lanii) of Kearney and great granddaughter Apollo Marie Sculley of Kearney; brother Richard (Pauline) Sculley of Dighton, Kansas; sister Judy Deiser of Colby, Kansas; sister-in-law Nora Sculley of Fresno, California; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Raymond.

Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association.

There will be a visitation for Albert Sculley on Saturday, May 3, in Ness City at Fitzgerald Funeral Home between the hours of 1:30 and 3:30.
