Alberta A. Walt, age 75, passed away at Cedar Village Long Term Care, Ness City, Kansas, on May 21, 2014.

She was born on January 18, 1939 in Park, Kansas, the daughter of Bernard and Mary Wildeman Zimmerman.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Sacred Heart Altar Society.

On October 12, 1959, she married Albert T. Walt. He survives.

Other survivors include her sons, Tom Walt, Utica, KS, and Rodney (Traci) Walt, Lee Summit, MO; daughters, Bonnie Von Lintel, Elkhart, KS, Connie Schwindt, Ness City, KS, Judy (Marty) Klitzke, Ness City, Brenda (Craig) Stoecklein, Hays, KS, and Debbie (Mike) Bollinger, Durango, CO; brothers John, Ralph, Pete, and Joe Zimmerman; sisters, Pauline Younker, Genevive Stefen, and Angie Hausheer; grandchildren, Andrew Von Lintel, Matthew (Aubrey) Von Lintel, Katisha (Grant) Wiegers, Melissa (Mike) Petrin, Robby (Tala) Schwindt, Eric (Tomara) Schwindt, Dillon Schwindt, Chelsea Klitzke, Kristen Klitzke, Macie Stoecklein, Ryan Stoecklein, Devin Bollinger, Kylie Bollinger, Zachary Pitts, Sadye Mullins, and Zeven Walt; great-grandchildren, Aiden Schwindt, Lexi Schwindt, SammiJo Wiegers, Jordi Wiegers, Gavin Von Lintel, and Zaden Pitts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law, Sam Von Lintel; a brother, Leo Zimmerman; and a grandson, Blake Stoecklein.

Viewing will be Thursday, May 22, 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Friday, May 23, from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Ness City.

Rosary will be Friday May 23, at 6:30 P.M. with vigil following at 7:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Church, Ness City.

Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday May 24, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church.

Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
