Alice Ann (Leiker) Kerr, aged 67, of Sedan, Kansas, formerly of Great Bend, passed away on August 12, 2025, at Pleasant Valley Manor in Sedan. Born on August 31, 1957, in Ness City, she was the daughter of Richard and Bernardine Jacobs Leiker. Alice graduated from Ness City High School in 1976 and dedicated her career to caring for others as a Certified Nurses Aide in various nursing homes across Ness City, Great Bend, and Dodge City.

Alice married Terry Brown on February 4, 1984, in Ness City, and they lived in several places including Ness County and Dodge City before settling in Noel, Missouri, where she worked at Tyson Foods. After their divorce, she married Jimmie Kerr on January 6, 2007, in Larned. The couple lived in Kinsley, Larned, and eventually Great Bend, where Alice worked at Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy Store.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Kerr of Sedan; her daughter, Kristy Gresty and husband Clint of Dodge City; her sisters, Mary Jane Leiker of Great Bend and Donna Sue Graf and husband Leonard of Phillipsburg; her brother, Wayne Leiker and wife Karen of Holton; and her cherished grandchildren, Caleb Gresty, Jerzie Tompkins, and Mina and Xander Brown. Alice was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Joshua Brown, who passed away on August 4, 2023.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 22nd at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend. A private inurnment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Ness City.
