Allen Carl Lawson, 66, passed away on September 07, 2024 at the Ness County Hospital in Ness City, Kansas.  He was born on August 25, 1958 in Los Angeles, California the son of Carl and Uvada (Wood) Lawson.

Allen was a equipment operator for the County Road and Bridge Department. He was in the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He married Kathleen Wittman on May 13, 2005, in Ness City, Kansas.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Lawson of Bazine; daughter, Bobbiejo Laughlin and Ernest Patrick of Salina; stepson, Russell (Twanya) Wittman of Sedilia, MO; brother, David (Lori) Lawson; sister, Cindy Burnham, both of McAlester, OK; and 2 grandchildren, James and Angela Laughlin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and stepson, John Wright.
