Arnold Lee Reitan, 64, passed away on July 9, 2022 at his home in Ransom, Kansas.  He was born on June 6, 1958 in Bakersfield, California, the son of Arnold and Hilda (Neves) Reitan.

Arnold lived in Ness County for 9 years working for Gabel Lease and Aeroswint, coming from Las Vegas where he worked as a commercial plumber.

Survivors include his brother, Alvin F. (Bleau) Reitan of Ransom; 2 sisters, Ardean of Florida, and Joyce of California; 5 nephews and nieces, Aaron, Frances, Nicci, Paula, and Anna; 5 great-nieces and nephews, Myah, Makayla, Marcos, Zoe, and Augustus. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Ransom Fire Department.
