Bernice Marie Holmes, age 84, passed away on September 8, 2020 at Cedar Village Care Center, Ness City. She was born on April 5, 1936 in Schoenchen, Kansas to Jacob and Geneva Randa.

She graduated from Schoenchen High School and had many different work experiences but the ones she would talk about most were being a secretary for K.A.Y.S. Radio and owning Larry's Place for 13 years.

Bernice was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters and her parents.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Larry, of the home; son, Kelly (Juncal) Holmes of Scottsdale, AZ and Chris (fiancée Ashlee) Holmes also of Scottsdale; and their daughter, Buffey (Doug) Wittman of Ness City; and sister, Jenny Rebel, of Ness City.  She is also survived by four grandchildren, Natasha, Sebastian, Jake, and Josh.

As a very kind and loving sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, she will be missed everyday.  We love you momma.  We know you would say in your own way, "I Love You."

A family graveside service will be on Friday, September 11, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Ness City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Village Nursing Home or the Sacred Heart Church both of  Ness City.
