Beverly Erb, age 68, passed away on January 31, 2017, at Country Living, Larned, Kansas.  She was born on April 13, 1948, in Lawrence, Kansas, the daughter of L.A.  (Roy) and Marjorie Cochran Krug.

Beverly was a 1966 graduate of Ness City High School and attended Kansas State University.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Bazine.

On June 1, 1984, she married Stan Erb in Bazine, Kansas.  Beverly loved to garden, and she had a knack for beautifully decorating her home.  She was an excellent cook and baker, often times using fruits and vegetables from her garden.  She loved Bazine schools and supported all school activities—music, plays, sports.  She was a huge music fan and loved dancing to her favorite "oldies."  She adored animals and took in stray cats and dogs which she spoiled; they brought joy to her and her neighbors.   She employed community teenagers to do work around her house, and she loved to share advice and stories with them.  She left a positive impression on those kids, and she loved them like they were her family.  They felt the same about her.  The greatest source of pride in her life was her daughter, Lindsey Brooke, who died far too young—Beverly never recovered from her passing.

She is survived by her husband, Stan who lovingly cared for her the last few years of her life..  Other survivors include daughter Michelle and Paul Woydziak, Hoisington; grandson, Ryan Woydziak; nephews, Tony Erb, Jason Huxman,  Jeremy Huxman, Kevin Timken, Keith Timken and Kyle Timken; and nieces, Teresa Erb, Ashley Schultz and Sharon (Timken) Mayo.  She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Lindsey (Young) Lawrence.

Memorial Contributions may be given to the Bazine United Methodist Church or Christ Pilot Me Hill.

A memorial service will be held at the Golden Years Center, Bazine from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
