Obituary

Wilbert "Bud" Wittman Jr., 77, passed away on July 8, 2021 at the Cedar Village Care Center in Ness City, Kansas.  He was born on November 22, 1943 in Melbourne, Australia the son of Wilbert and Nellie (Tite) Wittman.

Bud was a proud US Marine, a Fredericksburg Police Officer and later in life retired as a truck driver at McLane Distribution Center. He was a member of the Olin Cole Post No. 392 in Bazine. He was also a member of the Fredericksburg Eagle's Club Aerie 4133. He married Dianne Sacrey on May 16, 1981, in Hartwood, Virginia. She died on February 23, 2019.

Survivors include a son, Chip Klock (Kimberly)  of Fredericksburg, VA; 4 daughters, Teresa  Janda (Mike) of McPherson, Lori  Klock (Mark), Heather Thompson (Carey), Amanda Henson (Joshua) all of Fredericksburg, VA; 2 brothers, James Wittman (Brenda) of Tyler, TX, David Wittman (Malinda) of Alvin, TX; sister, Kathy Lawson (Allen) of Bazine; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and best friend, Dianne, brother, Dan, and 2 daughters, Tammy and Debby Klock.

Memorial service will be on Monday, July 12, 2021, 11:00 A.M., at the Olin Cole Post No. 392, Bazine, Kansas with Military Rites. (Casual Dress) The service will be viewable via facebook live at www.facebook.com/fitzgeraldfuneral.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Fredericksburg Eagle's Club Aerie 4132 or the Olin Cole Post No. 392.
