Burneeta Lucille Chapman born in Esbon KS on 9/23/1914 - and passed on 4/2/2010 at Mercy Hospital, Ardmore OK at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her husband Delmar Chapman, her parents Floyd and Grace Lytle, a sister Marjorie Gorham, a granddaughter Donna Kay Chapman, and a great granddaughter Becky Vader. Delmar and Burneeta were married on June 28th, 1930. They had 60 years together and 80 years of devotion. Burneeta was survived by three children. A son Delmar Chapman and his wife Phyllis of St. George Utah, a son Ronald Chapman and his wife Shirley of Maui Hawaii, and a daughter Sharon Metheny and her husband Dennis, of Ardmore OK where she had lived the last four years. Burneeta is also survived by six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and 1 great great great-grandchild. Services will be at 1:30, April 7, 2010 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Ness City, Kansas and she will be laid to rest in Great Bend, KS. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 6, from 9am until 9pm and Wednesday from 9am until service time at the funeral home.
