Carletta Gentry, 85, passed away on May 11, 2026, at the The Universiity of Kansas Health System Great Bend Campus. She was born on October 5, 1940, in Red Onion, Arkansas the daughter of Homer and Mina (Porter) Collins.

Funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, 10:00 a.m., at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, Kansas. Burial in the Ness City Cemetery. Friends may call at Fitzgerald Funeral Home on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the family present from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Dementia Society of America.
