Carolyn Mae Venters, 62, passed away on May 24, 2021 at the Lane County Hospital in Dighton, Kansas.  She was born on April 2, 1959 in Ransom, Kansas the daughter of Charles and Marjorie (Luther) Walker.

Survivors include one daughter, Chasity Kinderknecht and her husband Kyle of Hays; her son, Shawn Johnson of Dighton; two brothers, Rex Walker of Enid, Oklahoma and  Dennis Walker (Duanna) of Utica; one sister, Minnie Popp (Myron); four grandchildren, Payton and Keaton Markley and Kyler and Spenser Kinderknecht; a much loved aunt, Rosalie Cheney of WaKeeney; and two sisters-in-law, Joann Walker of Utica and Mona Walker of Eads, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles Walker Jr. and Carroll Walker and one sister-in-law, Maxine Walker.

A Life Celebration Service will be on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, 10:30 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Brain Injury Association of America.
