Clifford William Jones Jr. 93, passed away on March 22, 2022, at the Gove County Medical Center in Quinter, Kansas. He was born on November 11, 1928, in Quinter, Kansas the son of Clifford William Sr. and Mildred (Shriver) Jones.

On August 21, 1949, Bill married Shirley Elizabeth Grafel in Herndon, Kansas. The couple made their home on a farm south of Quinter where they raised their two children. He farmed and ranched as a living and expanded into raising and selling show cattle. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Utica where he served on the church board and the building committee when the new church was built. He was on the Larrabee Township Board for many years. He served as 4-H Beef Project leader for the Hackberry 4-H Club and on the Quinter School Board. Bill was an antique enthusiast and after retirement Bill enjoyed spending time restoring antique tractors.

Survivors include a son, Douglas Jones of Park, Kansas, and a daughter, Linda Prather, and her husband Jeff, of Gove, Kansas; five grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Omaha, NE, Michelle Jones, Wichita, KS, Lance Prather, Hutchinson, KS, Megan Alexander, Albuqurque, NM, and Justine Brott, Bartley, NE; six great- grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Shirley Elizabeth Jones who passed away on September 30, 2021.

Funeral service will be on Monday, April 4, 2022, 10:30 A.M., at the United Methodist Church, Utica, Kansas. Burial in the Utica Cemetery. Friends may call at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City on Sunday April 3, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. with the family present from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. The casket will be closed.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Utica United Methodist Church or the Gove County Medical Center.
