Curtis Lee Uhl, age 80, died at the Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend, Kansas on October 28, 2023.  He was born on December 7, 1942, in Amarillo, Texas the son of George and Dorothy (French) Uhl.

Curtis worked in the oil field most of his adult life, spending most of it as a driller.  When he wasn't working, he enjoyed collecting things, especially antique cars and tractors which he would often restore.  Curtis also spent many hours riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Curtis is survived by his daughter, Ashley Campbell and her husband, Cody, and their children, Leo and Ada.

Graveside funeral service will be held at the Ness City Cemetery, on November 2, 2023, 1:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given to Children's Mercy Hospital, Kansas City in Curtis' memory.
