Dallas Everett Haug, age 72, died May 17, 2010 at his home in Ransom, Kansas. He was born December 9, 1937 in Gravette, Arkansas the son of Everett and Jessie (Charles) Haug.
He married Judy Johnson in Utica, Kansas. To this marriage three children were born, Kimberly Sue, Troy Wayne, and Niki Gaye. Dallas served in the US Army, stationed at Forth Hood, Texas. He farmed and worked for many years at the Coop in Ransom, Kansas. He loved to garden, was an avid hunter and loved to take his grandkids fishing. He would bring candy to his granddaughters on Saturday then take them to Ness City to buy lottery tickets and donuts.
Dallas is survived by his son, Troy and wife Candee, Utica, Kansas, daughter, Niki Crosby, Omaha, Nebraska, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and a brother, Howard and his wife Rosanne, Ransom. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kimberly Sue, brother, Kenneth and great grandson Cade.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be Saturday, May 22, 2010, 10:00 am at Fitzgerald Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Haug Grandchildren Education Fund.
