Danny K. Wittman, age 63, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born on August 2, 1947 in LaCrosse, Kansas the son of Wilbert and Nellie Tite Wittman. He had retired from the Kansas Department of Transportation.
On November 11, 1981 he married Patty Jones in Bazine, Kansas. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his mother, Nellie Wittman, Ness City; one son, Leonard Jones, Bazine; two daughters, Danielle and Rochelle Wittman, Hays; three brothers: Bud Wittman, Bazine, Jim Wittman, Carlsbad, NM, David Wittman, Alvin, TX; one sister: Kathy Lawson, Bazine and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Wilbert Wittman.
Funeral service will be Saturday, May 28, 2011, 10:30 A.M. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, Kansas. Burial in the Bazine Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 9AM until 9PM with the family present from 7PM until 9PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Ness County Relay For Life Team.
