Diane Lynn Dexter, 69, passed away on March 10, 2022 at the Ness County Hospital in Ness City, Kansas.  She was born on December 8, 1952 in Hays, Kansas the daughter of Donald and Billie (Jobe) Swim.

In 1976, Diane married Jack Dexter. They later divorced. In May of 1985, she met Bob Roths and they remained together for 37 years until his death on January 16, 2022.

Survivors include her daughter, Ginger Braun and her husband, James Watterson of Ness City; her son, Brandon Dexter and his wife, Elizabeth, of Emporia; her brother, Donald Swim of Arizona; 2 sisters, Sue Fehrenbach and her husband, Eldon, of Ness City, Jeanne Hanson and her husband, Dana, of Benton, Kansas; 9 grandchildren, Lauren, Dakota, Mackenzie, Jaiden, Zach, Elijah, Joshua, Caleb, and Owen. Roths family members include Monty Roths and his wife, Briana, of Wichita; Kenny Roths and his wife, Lucinda of Salina; 8 grandchildren, Justin, Jeremy, Danielle, Isaac, Sam, Madison, Makenna, and Meaghan; and 7 great-grandchildren, Dakoda, Tage, Lucas, Liam, Malachi, Ellissa, and Iris. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Patricia Koerner, and Bob Roths.

Memorial service will be on Friday, March 18, 2022, 10:30 A.M., at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, Kansas with burial in the Ness City Cemetery. Friends may call at Fitzgerald Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., with the family present on Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Ness City Library or Central Care Cancer Center.
