Dick Vogel, age 79, passed away at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas on July 2, 2014.

He was born on December 9, 1934 in Ness City, the son of Eddie and Mary Leiker Vogel.

He was a cattle rancher, farmer, and Army veteran.

On August 5, 1957, he married Carolyn Beutler.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; sons, Blaine (Cindy) Vogel, Ness City, Wade (Shaunda) Vogel, Ness City; grandchildren, Kevin, Keith, Weston, Kabel, Dakota, Brayden; great-grandchildren, Caidyn, Tracer, Karlee, Ryder; and sisters, Inez (Paul) Wasinger, Vada (Earl) Stoecklein, and Jeanette (Steve) Coffman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald.

Visitation will be Friday, July 4, 6:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Saturday, July 5, 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, Ness City.

Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
