Dorothy Marie Herman, age 91, passed away at Cedar Village Long Term Care, Ness City, on May 11, 2016. She was born on June 17, 1924 in Russell, KS, the daughter of Herbert and Isabelle Gager Dumler.

She was a near lifetime resident of Ness City.

On August 28, 1942 she married John Herman. He preceded her in death on December 6, 1996.

She is survived by her son, Jim (Ruth) Herman, Great Bend; daughter, Diana (George) Harmison, Forreston, TX; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Virginia Cranston.

Viewing will be at Fitzgerald Funeral Home on Saturday, May 14, 9 A.M. - 9 P.M. and Sunday, May 15, 10 A.M. - 9 P.M. with family present, 6-8 P.M.

Funeral service will be Monday, May 16, 10:00 A.M. at the United Methodist Church, Ness City. Burial in Ness City Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to United Methodist Women, Ness City.
