Elvira B. Seib, age 80, died Monday, December 1, 2010 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas. Born February 10, 1930 on the farm in Ness County the daughter of George and Lena Raskopf Stecklein. She was a homemaker, a member of the Sacred Heart Church and the Altar Society, both of Ness City. On January 28, 1947 she married Pete Seib. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2002. She is survived by five sons: Pete Jr and his wife Raydel, Aurora, CO, John and his wife Claudia, Ness City, Jim, Denver, CO, Larry and his wife Becky, Ness City, Steve and his wife Andrea, Denver; two daughters: Theresa Laas and her husband Kent, Hays and Barbara Beltz and her husband Roger, Dodge City, KS; a brother Wilbur and his wife Pat Stecklein, Ness City and a sister Wilma Seib and her husband Tony, Munjor, Kansas; 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Beltz.

Parish Vigil will be Friday, 7:00 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home. Viewing from 6 pm until service time and at the church Saturday from 9 until service time. Funeral Mass, Saturday, 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Warren Stecklein presiding. Burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to Cedar Village Long Term Care.
