Erma June Ferguson, 73, passed away on July 7, 2020 at the Ness County Hospital in Ness City, Kansas. She was born on June 24, 1947 in Ness City, Kansas the daughter of Michael and Clara (Meis) Gabel.

Erma graduated from Ness City High School. She worked at the Ness County Hospital for 22 years as a Certified Nurse's Aide and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, cross stitching, and collecting Santa Claus' and cookbooks. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She married Ronald Ferguson on September 7, 1968, in Ness City. He died on January 15, 2019.

Survivors include her son, Jason (Devonie) Ferguson of Frederick, CO; a brother, Russell (Dea) Gabel of Ness City; a sister, Mae Marsha Johnson of Troy, KS; and 1 granddaughter, Kaitlyn Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Ferguson; a son, Heath Ferguson; and a brother, Mike Gabel.

A Rosary will be on Monday, July 13, 2020, 8:30 A.M. at the Sacred Heart Church, Ness City, Kansas followed by the funeral service at 9:00 A.M. Burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may sign the book at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, on Sunday, July 12, 2020, from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Ness County Hospital, or Sacred Heart School.
