Florence Eudy's Obituary
Florence Eudy, age 86, passed away at Cedar Village Long Term Care, Ness City, Kansas on October 28, 2014.
She was born in Ness City on June 18, 1928 to John and Filomena Leiker Paul. She graduated from Ransom High School and the Salt City Business College in Hutchinson, KS.
She Married Herbert E. Myers October 25, 1948. She worked for Boeing five and a half years and for Boeing again at the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL. She divorced Herb in 1969.
She worked for Harkness Insurance in Ness City before moving to Des Moines in 1973 and married John E. Eudy. She worked for Meredith Printing for 12 and a half years and retired in 1988. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and a member of the Foxy Belles while in Iowa. John passed away in 1995.
She is survived by daughter, Jacque (Robert) Paul, Norwalk, IA; son, Craig (Penny) Myers, Ness City; grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Paul, Heather (Brian) Cotsworth, Daniel (Veronica) Paul, Jerusha (Tom) Strodthoff, Dustin (Kayla) Myers, Brady Myers, and Nathan Myers; 14 great-grandchildren and Bernie the granddog; step son, Steve Eudy; step daughter, Patricia (Bryce) Dykstra, and step grandson, Curt McWherter.
Viewing will be Thursday, October 30, 2014, 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. with Rosary service at the funeral home at 7:00 P.M.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 31, 10:00 A.M. at St. Aloysius Church, Ransom.
Burial in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Ransom, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery Fund.
