Florence A. Pfannenstiel, age 85, passed away at the Ness County Hospital, Ness City, Kansas on Thursday March 17, 2011. She was born on November 18, 1925 just outside of Ness City, Kansas the daughter of Joseph and Amelia Ruder Pfannenstiel. She was a clerk and a lifetime resident of Ness County. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Altar Society both of Ness City.

She is survived by her sister, Iona Pfannenstiel, Ness City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Wendell, Edgar, Theobaldus, Marcellus, Robert, Harold, and William Pfannenstiel and sisters: Adeline Leiker, Tillie Depperschmidt, and Lydia Stecklein.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 19, 2011, 10:30 A.M. Sacred Heart Church, Ness City. Parish Vigil will be at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City on Friday, March 18, at 7 P.M.. Friends may call Friday 9 A.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
