Floyd Edward Schuckman, 88, passed away on November 15, 2020 at the Grisell Memorial Hospital in Ransom, Kansas. He was born on
October 3, 1932 in McCracken, Kansas the son of Alexander and Anna (Schaeffer) Schuckman.
He was a member of St. Aloysius Church and VFW Post 7972, both of Ransom. Floyd graduated from the Arnold High School and then joined the United States Air Force during the Korean war. When he returned home, Floyd began farming and ranching. He married Marie Ketzner on May 20 th , 1952 in Ransom, Kansas. She preceded him in death on July 25, 1999
Floyd is survived by his three children, Janet Faroh and her husband, Craig, of Colwich, Kansas, Wayne Schuckman and his wife, Cindy of Ransom, Kansas and Pamela McCoy and her husband, Donald "Chip" of Enid, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Christopher (Amanda) Schuckman, Manhattan, KS, Melissa Schuckman, Kansas City, Missouri, Lacey Schuckman, Manhattan, KS, Jeremy (Christina) McCoy, Stillwater, OK, Ryan (Megan) McCoy, Owasso, OK and Chad (Jessica) McCoy, Edmond, OK; eleven great grandchildren, Tayton Brown, Joshua McCoy, Harper Schuckman, Kinley Schuckman, Allison McCoy, Jacob McCoy, Brooks McCoy, Caleb McCoy, Nora McCoy, Evan McCoy, and Tabor McCoy; three sisters, Velma (Charlie) Bauer, Lyons, KS, Darlene LaBute, Hays, KS, and Dorothy (Kenneth) McCabe, Council Grove, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Anna; wife, Marie; and brother, Melvin Schuckman
Graveside funeral service will be on Saturday, November 21, 2020, 12:00 noon, at the St. Aloysius Cemetery, Ransom, Kansas. Viewing will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City on Friday, November 20th, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family present from
5:00 - 7:00 p.m..
Memorial contributions may be given to the Rhode Island Suites or Grisell Memorial Hospital.
Words of sympathy and support may be left for the family by writing in the guest book.
