Forrest W. Frazier, age 92, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, at Cedar Village LTC in Ness City, Kansas. Born on February 16, 1933, in Bazine, he was the son of Enceil and Letha (Floyd) Frazier.

After graduating from Hutchinson High School in 1950, Forrest answered the call to ministry, dedicating his life to serving others as a pastor in the Assembly of God Church. He was ordained in 1967 and faithfully led several congregations including the church in Ness City where he pastored 20 years until his retirement in 2017.

On August 22, 1952, Forrest married the love of his life, Helen Avery, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. They shared 52 wonderful years together before her passing in 2005.

Known affectionately in Ness City as "The Walking Preacher," Forrest found joy and reflection in his daily walks, often covering several miles as he greeted friends and neighbors along the way.

He is survived by his four children: Sheryl Cloutman of Riverside, CA; Rebecca Forthun (Ardmore) of Hettinger, ND; Rachel Morgan (Loren) of Ness City, KS; and Jonathan Frazier (Angelia) of Timken, KS. He was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Forrest was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Helen, and his sister Phyllis Bachus.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Ness City, followed by burial at Ness City Cemetery. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until 8:00 p.m., with the family present from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Prairie or Ness City Leisure Years, honoring Forrest's lifelong commitment to faith, family, and community.
