Frank William Jedlicka's Obituary
Frank William Jedlicka, age 91, passed away at the Ness County Hospital, Ness City, on Monday, March 12, 2012. He was born on July 25, 1920 on the farm in rural Ness County the son of Joseph and Edna Seuser Jedlicka.
He was a farmer and stockman, a member of the First Baptist Church, Ness City, The Gideons, WCTU and he was a US Army veteran of World War II. Frank served as an airplane and engine mechanic with the 146th Army Air Force Base Unit.
On January 16, 1970 he married Sarah Boyd Taylor Funk in Ness City. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Terry (Ruthie) Funk, Big Canoe, Georgia and Dean (Mackey) Funk, Ness City;two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five nephews and nieces and numerous great-nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Jedlicka and two sisters, Ruth Pugh and Rita Frusher.
Funeral service will be Thursday, March 15, 2012, 10:30 A.M. at the First Baptist Church, Ness City. Burial in the Ness City Cemetery. Viewing at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City will be on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be given to The Gideons.
