Glenda M. Koch, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Garden Valley Retirement Center, Garden City, KS. She was born Glenda M. Schneider on July 27, 1924 to John and Bertha (Krug) Schneider on the family farm south of Bazine, KS.

At the age of 18 she started her nurse aide career at Bakers Hospital in Lacrosse, KS. Later she worked at Central Kansas Medical Center and retired in the late seventies. It was at Bakers she meet Adam Koch while caring for his mother. They were married June 6, 1948. To this union 4 sons were born.

She is survived by sons, Johnny (Sharon)of Enterprise, KS, Jim (Jerri)of Pratt, KS and Jack (Kim) of Garden City, KS. One sister Jenetta Filbert of Bazine, KS. Five Grandchildren and fourteen Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son (Jerry), one sister (Elvira Kerr).

Friends may call on Wednesday September 9, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Ness City, KS.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, September 10, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Bazine Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in Glenda's name to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Great Bend, KS or Russell Child Development Center in Garden City, KS in care of funeral home.
