Obituary

Greg Dale Curtis, 51, passed away on December 4, 2019 at Hays Med, Hays.  He was born on May 27, 1968 in Newton the son of Robert and Kay Curtis.
He was 1987 graduate of Ransom High School and a member of the First Christian Church, Utica. After completing auto body repair training in Dodge City he worked for John's Auto Body Shop for a couple of years before returning to work on the Curtis Family Farm Northwest of Utica.  He worked for the WaKeeney Livestock Commission for over five years and hauled cattle for area cattlemen.
Survivors include parents; sister, Dana Pierce of Winnsboro, TX; two nieces, Cortney Smith and her husband Cody of Greeley, CO and Brie Pierce of Winnsboro, TX; two nephews, Colt Zordel and his wife, Maggie, and Slade Pierce all of Winnsboro, TX and two great Nieces, Mila and Lena Smith.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delaine and Loris Jacka and Bill and Vera Curtis.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, December 7, 2019, 2:00 PM, at the Praise Fellowship Church, Ransom.  Burial in the Utica Cemetery, Utica.  Viewing will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. and at the church from noon until service time.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation.
