Harvey Earl Moore, age 96, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Cedar Village, Ness City. He was born on November 25, 1913 on the farm South of Bazine, Kansas the son of Earl O. and Hermina G. Schaben, Moore.
He was a farmer and stockman and lived most of his life on the farm in Bazine. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Bazine and in his younger days he and his wife were active members of the Wheatland Swingers Square Dance Club.
On July 22, 1934 he married Lucille Crotinger at LaCrosse, Kansas. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his son Rodney Moore and his wife Patty, Prineville, Oregon, 2 grandchildren, 3 Step-grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother Ferlyn Moore and a sister Cleo Maser.
Friends may call at Fitzgerald Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 16 from 9am – 9pm with the family present from 7-8pm. Funeral service will be Wednesday, 10:30 am at St Luke's Lutheran Church, Bazine with Pastor Warren Prochnow presiding. Burial in the Bazine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the church or the Bazine Cemetery Fund in care of Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City
