George Howard Fenley, 91, passed away on September 23, 2023 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.  He was born on January 18, 1932 on the family farm near Alamota, Kansas the son of George and Clara (Ramseier) Fenley.

Howard was a farmer  and stockman. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Dighton. He was a United States Army Veteran serving stateside during the Korean War. He married Josephine "Peggy" Moore on August 8, 1954, in Dighton, Kansas.

Survivors include wife, Josephine "Peggy" Fenley of Dighton; son, Tracy (Tonya) Fenley of Ness City; granddaughters, Caitlin Smee and Jordyn Fenley; and brother-in-law, Jim Churchwell.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Fenley; and sisters, Norma Kuhn and Bonnie Churchwell.

Funeral service will be on Friday, September 29, 2023, 10:30 A.M., at the First Christian Church, Dighton, Kansas.  Burial in the Lane County Cemetery, Dighton, Kansas with Military Honors from the American Legion Post No. 190 and the Kansas Army National Guard. Friends may call at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, Kansas, on Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 10:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the First Christian Church of Dighton.
