Isidore J. Gerstner's Obituary
Isidore J. Gerstner, age 90, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Wichita County Long Term Care, Leoti, Kansas.
He was born February 27, 1920 in Ness County the son of Jacob and Rosa Gabel Gerstner.
He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Cheyenne Wells, Colorado and a World War II United States Air Force Veteran. He served throughout the United States, England, Africa, and Italy. He was a Parts Clerk, Mechanic, and Accountant.
Survivors include his brother Herbert Gerstner, Amarillo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by brothers: Joe, John, Paul, Louie, Eugene and sisters: Felicitia Koester, Mary Englert, and Katie Knott.
Memorial service will be at the Sacred Heart Church, Ness City on Monday, March 22, 2010, 2:00 pm with Father Henry Hildebrandt presiding. Inurnment in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Ness City.
Rosary will be Sunday, March 21, 2010, 7:00 pm at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.
Memorial contributions may be made to Esther's Place, Home for the Disabled, Hays, Kansas.
