Obituary

Jack D. Harper, age 72, passed away at Ness County Hospital, Ness City, Kansas on March 31, 2014.

He was born on June 22, 1941 in Randolph, Kansas, the son of Jim Harper and Dorothy and Cliff Lemaster.

He served his country proudly in the Navy. He was a carpenter and a member of a band for many years.

On October 21, 1964, he married Sandra Manseau in Palo Alto California. She preceded him in death January 23, 2012.

Jack is survived by his son, Cliff (Rebecca) Harper, Alexander, KS; brother, Larry (Trina) Harper, Reno, NV; sister, Jeannie (Tommy) Mullins, Camanche, OK; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and step-daughters, Linda and Kenny Connor and Betty Honscee.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Harper; step-son, Jack Urlich, and a grand-daughter, Angela Connor.

Viewing will be Thursday April 3, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. with funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.

Cremation will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Legion Post 392, Bazine.
