Jeff Meis
Jeffrey Lee Meis, age 47, died June 5, 2009 in Hays, Kansas. He was born July 6, 1961 in Ness City, Kansas the son of Harold C. "Kaiser" and Ramona Mauch Meis.
He worked in the construction industry installing steel siding, windows, and other exteriors. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Ness City, the American Legion Riders Chapter #392, Ness County, the Hays Sons of the American Legion Squadron # 173 . He contributed in many ways to the Hays VFW #9076.
Survivors include his mother, Ramona Meis, Ness City, his sister, Jean Meis Annas, and two nephews, Stephen and Jason Annas, Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral service was at the First Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 10, 11:00 A.M. Burial in the Ness City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ness City American Legion Riders or the Ness County Bank Building.
