Jessie Earl Crosswhite, age 78, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Cedar Village, Ness City, KS. He was born on August 17, 1931 in Bristol, VA the son of Jessie Edward and Maxine Holland Crosswhite. He was a farmer in Ness County for over 50 years and a member of the First Baptist Church, Ness City. Jessie served in the United States Air Force as a B-52 airplane mechanic.
On August 4, 1956 he married Patricia Krey at Great Bend, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include sons, Bruce Crosswhite and fiancé Kathy Stanley, Kinsley and Earl Crosswhite and wife Denise, Ness City; brothers, Sam and Jerry Crosswhite and sisters Betty Mae Murray and Margaret Spears all of Bristol, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday thru Sunday 10 am – 9 pm with the family present on Sunday from 7-9pm at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City. Funeral Service will be Monday, June 28, 2010, 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church, Ness City, burial in the Ness City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Cedar Village or the Hospice of the Prairie.
