Jim Wasinger, age 57, passed away at Promise Regional Hospital, Hutchinson, Kansas on May 2, 2011.
He was born on November 4, 1953 in Ransom, Kansas the son of Nicholas and Wilma Munch Wasinger. He worked for over 25 years for Walker Implement and was a lifelong resident of Ness City. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Ness City and the Sons of the American Legion of Brownell.

He is survived by his mother, Wilma (Earl) Drake, Ness City; brothers, Kenneth Wasinger, Ness City, Layne Wasinger, Ness City, and Alan Wasinger, Ness City; sisters, Linda (Rick) Cox, Hanston, Lavonne (fiance Tom Coker) Mischler, Hays, and Lucianne (Tom) Cole, Canon City, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his father and also his brother, Verlyn Wasinger.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 5, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Ness City. Rosary service will be on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City. Friends may call Wednesday 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be give to Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund.
