Obituary

Eleanor "Joan" Moore, 88, passed away on June 27, 2021 at her daughter's home in Tampa, Florida.  She was born on July 5, 1932 in Cainsville, Missouri the daughter of Elbert and Pearl (Painter) Bain.

She was a homemaker, a member of the United Methodist Church of Ness City and a member of Eastern Star.  She married Ferlyn O. Moore on April 11, 1950.  He preceded her in death on November 27, 2009.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Melody Davis of Tampa; son, William Moore and his wife, Millie, of Davenport, Iowa; sister, Jean Schlegel and her husband, Kenny, of Ness City; grandson,  Scott Orebaugh, his wife, Tricia, and their daughter, Amber, all of Moreno Valley, California; step grandson, Bruce McKeever, of Davenport, Iowa; step-great granddaughter, Ashley Lehman, her husband, Tyler, and their children, Oliver and Kara, all of Columbus, Ohio.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Jo Orebaugh; son-in-law, Mike Davis; sister, Mary Dinsmore; and brothers, William and Donald Bain.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, July 8, 2021, 10:00 a.m., at the United Methodist Church, Ness City.  Burial in the Ness City Cemetery.  Friends may call at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Wednesday, July 7, 2021 with the family present from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m..
