El era un miembro de la iglesia del Sagrado Corazon en Ness City. Y trabajaba para Cheyenne Well Service como operador.
En Junio de 1999 se caso con Abigail Rodriguez en Durango, Mexico. Vivian en Hays, Kansas antes de vivir in Ness City en 2000. Ella sobrevive.
A Jose le sobreviven sus tres hijos Jose, Miriam y Betsabe Guzman Rodgriguez; su mama, Maria Del Rosario Rodriguez; cuatro hermanos, Osvaldo, Pedro, y Ezequiel Guzman en Ness City y Rolando Guzman en Mexico; y su hermana Santa Guzman en Ness City. Su papa fallecio en el año 1986.
El Rosario va a hacer el Miercoles 1 de Enero 2014, 7:00 pm en la iglesia del Sagrado Corazon, Ness City. Misa de Cuerpo Presente, Jueves 2 de Enero 2014, 11:00 am en la iglesia. Siguiendo con la sepultura en el cemeterio del Sagrado Corazon.

Jose Juan Guzman Rodriguez, age 31, passed away at the Ness County Hospital, Ness City, on December 29, 2013. He was born on June 29, 1982 in Durango, Mexico the son of Pedro Guzman and Maria Del Rosario Rodriguez.
He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Ness City and worked for Cheyenne Well Service as an operator.
On June 9, 1999 he married Abigail Rodriguez in Durango, Mexico. They lived in Hays, Kansas before moving to Ness City in 2000. She survives of the home.
Jose is also survived by his three children: Jose, Miriam and Betsabe Guzman Rodriguez; his mother Maria Del Rosario Rodriguez; four brothers, Osvaldo, Pedro, and Ezequiel Guzman all of Ness City and Rolando Guzman, Mexico and his sister Santa Guzman, Ness City. He was preceded in death by his father.
Rosary will be on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, 7:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Church, Ness City. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, January 2, 2014, 11:00 A.M. at the church. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Friends may call at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City on Tuesday, December 31 from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. and on Wednesday, January 1 from 10:00 A.M. until 2:30 P.M. and at the church from 4:00 PM until service time.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Sacred Heart School, Ness City.
