Obituary

Juanita Mae Dinges, 86, passed away on July 22, 2023, at the Cedar Village Care Center in Ness City, Kansas.  She was born on November 22, 1936, in Leoti, Kansas the daughter of George and Frances (Berning) Kessler.

Juanita was a hairdresser and worked for Ralph's Best Yet Supermarket for many years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and the Altar Society. She married Tom Dinges on August 28, 1956, in Marienthal, Kansas. He died on April 29, 2002.

Survivors include her 3 daughters, Sherry (John) Walker of Ness City, Verlinda Kraft of Ellinwood, Brenda (Howard) Boese of Brownell; son, Darren (Brenda) Dinges of Ness City; brother, Hilary Kessler of Scott City; 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom Dinges, and 6 sisters, Nettie, Josie, Zita, Sister Jenny, Johanna, and Julie.

Funeral service will be on Monday, July 31, 2023, 10:00 a.m., at the Sacred Heart Church, Ness City, with burial following in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. A Parish Vigil  and Rosary will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, July 30, 2023 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Ness City Library, the South Ness County EMS, or the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Words of sympathy and support may be left for the family by signing the guestbook.
