Obituary

Graveside Services for Kale D. Prose will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, Dec 29, 2009 at the Buda Cemetery in Ness City, Kansas.
Kale was born on April 7, 1932 in Alamota, Kansas to the late Fillmore and Myrtle (Schryer) Prose. He passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2009 in Davis at the age of
77.
Kale served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. After returning from the war, he began a career as an engineer with the Gulf Oil Company. This position took him on many great travels around the world. In 1993, Kale retired and moved to Davis where he began farming and ranching, which became his greatest enjoyment.
Kale is survived by two sons; Mark Javier Prose & wife Lisa of Cedar Creek, TX and David Miguel Prose of Austin, TX; one brother, Max Prose of Beeler, KS; one sister, Phyllis (Prose) Pearce of Pinedale, WY; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Marie (Prose) Moeckler and three brothers, Charles, Bob and Phil Prose.
David, Mark & Lisa wish to give special thanks for Dr. Teresa Lynn and Stacey & Gina of Victory Home Health and Hospice for their compassion, understanding and care given to Kale over the past few months, as well as, many others who offered their care and support.
