Kirk Arlen Rufenacht, age 74, passed away July 20, 2015 at the Grisell Memorial Hospital, Ransom, Kansas. He was born on November 10, 1940 in Ransom the son of Frank and Helen Neyer Rufenacht.

He was a retired farmer. On May 26, 1962 he married Doris Jane Leone in Coalgate, Oklahoma. She survives of the home. Other survivors include a son, Alex Rufenacht (Cindy) of Sioux Center, Iowa; two daughters, Gina Solomon of Mesa, Arizona and Lucinda Roths (Kenny) of Salina, Kansas, one sister, Kolleen Overman (Charles) of Pearl City, Hawaii; six grandchildren, Benjamin Amerine, Misty Armijo, Madison, Makenna, and Meaghan Roths, and Shayla Rufenacht; and two great grandchildren, Olivia and Zoey.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at the VFW Hall, Ransom, Kansas. Friends are invited to follow the family to Pa's Pond at Cedar Bluff Reservoir to scatter Kirk's ashes.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Cedar Bluff State Park- Pa's Pond and the Kid's Fishing Derby.
