Kitty E. Fisher, age 87, died July 26, 2009 at the Lane County Long Term Care, Dighton, Kansas. Born January 15, 1922 on the farm near Beeler the daughter of George Mason and Carrie Etta Smith Brown.

She was a waitress and had lived in Kansas City until returning to the Beeler area in 1981. She was married to Tom Fisher. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her brother, James Brown, Beeler, her sister, Vera Whipple, Dighton, and her long time friend, Darlene Bratten, Beeler. Her parents, a brother, William Mason Brown, and a sister, Velma Stramel, preceded her in death.

Funeral services and burial will be at the Beeler Cemetery, Wednesday, July 29, 2009, 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Warren Hett, Pastor United Methodist Church, Beeler presiding.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until noon at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City. Memorial contributions may be given to the donor's choice.
