Lane Jay Antenen, 62, Bazine, Kansas, passed away in an automobile accident September 12, 2024.  He was born on October 5, 1961 in Larned, Kansas to Terry and Gayle (Coppoc) Antenen.  Lane graduated from Bazine High School.  He later attended Hutchinson Community College and tech school in Hays.  He married Tammy Gerringer, they later divorced.  He then married Cynthia Moreland-Bertram.

Lane worked on the family farm at Bazine with his dad and then moved, working for Sigma Tek in El Dorado.  He also lived and worked in Arkansas and Texas before returning to the family farm.

Lane is survived by his wife, Cyndee; son Jeremy Antenen; Garric (Kara) Alford; Tracey Bertram Weaver; grandchildren Matthew (Ivy) Curl, Dakota Curl, Davin Weaver and Stacy Alford; great-grandchildren Amelia and Lane Curl and Colleen Graber; mom, Gayle; sisters Kathy (Terry) Rebel and Lori Hildreth; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and many loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Terry and sister-in-law, Sherrill Moreland.

A graveside funeral service will be held at the Crandall Cemetery on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.
