Larry
Seib
January 3, 1961 – June 28, 2024
Larry Seib, age 63, died on June 28, 2024, at the Ness County Hospital in Ness City, KS. He was born on Jan 3, 1961, in Ness City, the son of Pete and Elvira (Stecklein) Seib.
Larry was a lifetime resident of Ness City. He was baptized in the Sacred Heart Church and graduated from Ness City High School in 1979. On September 6, 1980, he married Becky Parkerson in Ness City. Larry raised cattle, worked in the oil field industry and was the owner and operator of S&S Pipe and Steel. He enjoyed spending time with friends and had a passion for hunting, particularly deer and elk in Wyoming, but his greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren. Larry had a huge heart, and his friends and family knew they could always rely on him to be the first one to help out at a moment's notice, no matter how big the task.
Larry is survived by his wife, Becky, and his four children, Kristin Sekavec and her husband, Caleb, of Garden City, Kayla Kennedy and her husband, Craig, of Manhattan, Ryan Seib and his wife, Allison, of Ness City and Brett Seib and his wife, Kylie, of Leander, Texas; his three brothers, Pete Seib, Jr (Raydel), Centennial, CO, Jim Seib (fiancée, Belinda) of Ness City, and Steve Seib (Andrea) of Denver, CO; two sisters, Theresa Laas (Kent) of Hays and Barbara Beltz (Roger) of Dodge City; eleven grandchildren, Riley, Ellie, Brynlie and Jace Sekavec, Tehgan, Parker, and Brogan Kennedy, Ashlyn and Raelyn Seib, and Lakin and Avery Seib.
Larry was preceded in death by his nephew, Chad Beltz, his parents, and his brother, John Seib.
A funeral service will be held on July 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Ness City, officiated by Fr. Pascal Klein, followed by burial at Ness City Cemetery.
