Larry Varble passed away peacefully at his home in Dallas on December 26, 2012. He had been gradually declining for several years due to emphysema. His mind remained clear throughout and he was very appreciative of all the care he received. His wife, Susan was with him when he stopped breathing.
He asked to be cremated and his family is not planning a traditional service.
On Saturday, January 5,1:00 pm, his family will be hosting an informal buffet lunch at the Cactus Club there in Ness City for friends of Larry.
