Laura J. Casey Linsey, 47, McCracken, died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at her home.
She was born April 11, 1963, in La Crosse to Patrick M. Casey and Frances R. (Kisslinger) Casey. She was a 1981 graduate of McCracken High School.
She married Russell (Russ) Linsey on Oct. 28, 2000, in McCracken. She worked at Kids Korner, La Crosse.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, McCracken.
Survivors include her husband, of the home: her mother, McCracken; six brothers; Daryl Casey and wife, Barbara, Copeland, Donald Casey and wife, Melodie, Johnson, James "Jim" Casey and wife, Karin, Hanston, Jerry Casey and wife, Karen, Plainville, Kevin Casey and wife, Kristi, Rogers, Ark., and Chris Casey and partner, Dare Rucker, Wichita; two sisters, Karen Shumake, Saginaw, Texas, and Carolyn "Rosie" Schadel and husband, Edgar, Alexander; two brothers-in-law, Stan Harman, and Phil Wiesner, both of Hays; her mother and father-in-law, Howard D. and Carolyn A. Linsey, Silver Lake; her brother and sister-in-law, Dean R. Linsey and wife, Jeanne, Silver Lake; 31 nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and nephews and two soon to be expected.
She was preceded in death by her father, in 2005; a sister, Patricia Casey Harman, in 2006; a sister, Cheryl Casey Wiesner, in 2010; brother-in-law, Larry Rome, in 1990; and her grandparents, Patrick J. and Sarah (McGaughey) Casey and Herman and Katherine (Flax) Kisslinger.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, McCracken; burial in St. Mary Cemetery, McCracken.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today, from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, both at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, and from 1 p.m. Wednesday until time of service at the church.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary's Heritage Association in care of the funeral home
