Lois Layton, age 81, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at Rhode Island Suites, Ransom, Kansas. She was born August 23, 1928 the daughter of Frank and Gertrude Sloop. She married Robert McKillip in 1945. He preceded her in death. On July 18, 1952 she married Bernard Layton. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1982. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Spung, Houston, 3 grandchildren, Pamela Thistlethwaite, Utica, Daniel Spung, and Jennifer Kisner and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughters, Connie Davis, Judy Bailey, and Kathleen McKillip and a son Michael McKillip. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Lima, Ohio
