Mary Pfannenstiel, age 97, passed away at the Ness County Hospital, Ness City, Kansas on January 27, 2013.
She was born December 11, 1915 in Ellis, Kansas the daughter of Clemens and Mary Lang Depperschmidt.
She was a homemaker and lifetime resident of Ness County.
On August 20, 1940 she married Edgar Pfannenstiel. He preceded her in death on August 25, 1997.
She is survived by her son, Keith Pfannenstiel (Paulette) of Lawrence; a daughter, Valarie Colburn (Randy), Shawnee, OK.; daughter-in-law, Anetta Pfannenstiel; grandchildren Cory, James, Gena, Jill, Lucas, Olivia, Lindsey, Hailey, Tatum, great-grandchildren Ashlyn, Alex, Colton, Garret, Landon, Emma, Ivan, Tessa, Ava, Gage, Caris, Laken, Liam, Scarlett.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Pfannenstiel; brothers: John, George; sisters: Katie, Anna, Margaret, Linda, Martina.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Wednesday, January 30, 2013, 9:00 – 11:00 am at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 30, 2013, 2:00 pm, Sacred Heart Church Ness City, KS.
Vigil and rosary service will be Tuesday, January 29, 2012 at 6:30 pm at Sacred Heart Church, Ness City, KS.
Burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church.
