Mary Lou Tillitson, 68, passed away on October 20, 2020 at the Cedar Village Care Center in Ness City, Kansas. She was born on October 29, 1951 in Ransom, Kansas the daughter of Oliver and Jennie (Potter) Tillitson.

Mary Lou was an elementary school teacher at Saint Mary Catholic School, Garden City, Kansas, and the Ransom Grade School, Ransom. In her spare time, she spent many hours on the Big Creek Golf Course at WaKeeney.

Survivors include 4 brothers; Dave and wife, Kelle of WaKeeney, John of Ransom, Larry and wife, Darlene of Ransom, Bob and wife, Michelle of Arnold; and her sister, Ellen Burns of Ransom. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be on Saturday, October 24, 2020, 2:00 P.M., at the Ransom Cemetery, Ransom, Kansas. Friends may call at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, Kansas, 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. Friday, October 23, 2020 with the family present from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Ransom VFW Post No. 7972.
