Mayme Lucille Amstutz's Obituary
Mayme (Schamaun) Amstutz, age 85, passed away February 24, 2011 at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
She was born December 6, 1925 in Ness City, to Harry and Nell McCubbin Schamaun. On January 31, 1944 she married Earl Amstutz.
She is survived by son, Russell Amstutz, Hutchinson; daughter, Barbara (Bobbie) Dellinger-Hurt and husband Mike, Hutchinson; granddaughter, Jennifer Dellinger; step-granddaughters: Angela and Melanie Hurt; 4 great-granddaughters: Ashlea, Alexis, Stormy and Ava; sisters: Loy Holland, St. Joseph, MO, MaryLou Cooper, Whidby Island, WA, Ceola Tischler, Inman, KS, Nell Moore (Gary), Aurora, CO and Lela McQuinn (Don), Kansas City, KS, numerous special nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma; brother, Duane, niece, Patty Sue, and nephew, Robbie Spence.
Graveside funeral service will be at the Ransom Cemetery on Monday, February 28, 2011, 1:00 PM with Chaplain Bob Phipps presiding. After the service there will be a dinner at the VFW, Ransom. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice House.
